Pradhan Mantri kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

The Central Government led Narendra Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to help the farmers who are in need to look after their farming, this Scheme was introduced in the year 2019 to provide Rs.6,000/- to the farmers in 3 quarters and about Rs. 75,000/- Crore is kept for the scheme annually, this Scheme was aimed at benefitting nearly 9 crore farmers all over the country.

The Central Government has informed that Rs.19 crore amount was released during the lockdown of two months amid COVID - 19 pandemic, and the amount was directly sent to the Bank accounts of the farmers.
